Happy St. Patricks Day 3/17/2013 Captains Journal : This weekend was great! We went through 120 shrimp cut in half and got a fish on almost every single bait. Look at those silver dollars!!! Great battle and nice time on the water! 4 guys went out and we were worried earlier in the week about not getting a good weather warm up but the cold snaps made it much better for us. I had the white baits to go into the flats and warm up the rods with snook and reds but I know those things have been pounded into submission. I would love to see a moratorium on snook fishing in certain places as this is where they get through the winter but that is not going to happen so I go to where no one else is catching and put on a clinic.
