Flats bay and nearshore fishing has been pretty intense! it was warm and the snook redfish and trout were eating just about everything. Then the winds picked up it went from 87 degrees down to 37 degrees with 30knt winds. I mean we still caught the fish with positive anglers thinking we can do it and we did! We found little nooks where the water was warm and flowing with big fish! They just ate when we were there! Slot snook to 31 inches with tons literally of small 20-27 inchers. one nice over 40. Lots of slot redfish and over slot redfish to 35 inches and 14 lbs. Snapper and sheepshead with the occasional grouper have beeen consistent! Black drum have been the go to in the colder days around the docks! They are worm free in winter cold so take advantage as this is going to change soon! Mackerel have been on fire with 3 king mackerel eating the spanish right off the line! Good to great to phenominal fishing in Tampa Florida Bays flats and near shore fishing charters. Come out and call for a guided fishing trip! These are the days to create memories! Thanks for reading!
